Song for a Stone, a poem by Istara

1–2 minutes
Shadows on your doorstep
Rewind, maybe you’re dead
Wind blows in your short hair
Be kind, be my close friend

Dont cry, dont be afraid
I'm far but i'm still there
Wet eyes, holding your hand
Youre strong and you'll bear

The weight of the cut flowers
You stayed, count the hours
Your name, just like she said
My grave like a sea bed

Candles, burned in the night
You laughed, i lost the fight
Ashes, coating your heart
Stay soft, stay just like that

Stay there, enjoy this soil
Im good, it was my time
Dont rage, its was my choice
Be yours, youre always mine
